Feb-05-2021 06:55 AM. Hello. I had not used my Paypal account for many years, today, I logged in with my account login and password, and was directed to "Authenticate required" page. I was given two options to receive authenticate code via text message or phone call.
This extra layer of security makes it much more difficult for unauthorized users to gain access. When 2FA is enabled, you’re required to enter both your password and a different code each time you log in to your account. PayPal will never ask you for this code over the phone, email or text. Never share it with anyone.

I can't see anyway to update this without logging in first? Tried calling Paypal but just keep getting cut off. Hoping someone has some advice?
