Peña Trevinca (Galician: Pena Trevinca), also known as Trevinca, is a mountain in northern Spain. It is located at the confluence of the Montes de León and the Macizo Galaico on the boundary between the autonomous communities of Galicia and Castile and León .

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. Peña Trevinca ( Galician: Pena Trevinca ), also known as Trevinca, is a mountain in northern Spain. It is located at the confluence of the Montes de León and the Macizo Galaico on the boundary between the autonomous communities of Galicia and Castile and León.
Its highest point is Pena Trevinca at 2,127 metres (6,978 ft) . Another important peak is Cabeza de Manzaneda (1,781 m). In traditional local folklore the forests of the Galician System are said to be inhabited by a variety of elves, fairies, ghosts, the Santa Compaña, the Nubeiro and witches (meigas) .

Pena Trevinca é un pico da serra do Eixe, no macizo de Pena Trevinca, que fai fronteira entre as provincias de Ourense e Zamora. É o punto de maior altitude do territorio galego pois está a 2127 m sobre o nivel do mar.
