However, here at the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum, we are lucky to have such a large group of volunteers and staff between the ages of 14 and 30.

Tim O’Neal, Pennsylvania Trolley Museum board member Ray Betler, and Scott Becker, the museum’s executive director, put shovels into the ground at the groundbreaking ceremony for the museum’s new welcome and education center Thursday.

The Pennsylvania Trolley Museum is focused on preserving and restoring our collection of antique streetcars. The Museum was founded in 1953 and has continued to conserve, preserve, and restore cars through a mostly volunteer effort. Today, we house a collection of 50 streetcars, many of which are operational and used for daily rides.
