On February 19, 2018, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court released a new congressional map, to take effect for the May 15, 2018, primaries. The Court voted to implement the new map by a 4–3 vote. The map was designed with the assistance of Stanford University law professor Nathaniel Persily.
Pennsylvania Route 23 Alternate Truck (PA 23 Alt. Truck) was a truck route around a formerly weight-restricted bridge over the French Creek in Phoenixville, on which trucks over 22 tons and combination loads over 26 tons were prohibited. The route followed PA 724, Bridge Street, Main Street, Township Line Road, and US 422.
