Website. seminarimertoyudan .sch .id. Peter Canisius Minor Seminary Mertoyudan, is a private Catholic secondary school for boys intending to be Catholic priests, located in Magelang, Central Java, Indonesia. The school was founded in 1912 by the Society of Jesus .
The course was for fresh graduates students from Holland’s Inlandse School (HIS) and Europesche Large School (ELS). In 1941, the Minor Seminary moved from Jogjakarta to Mertoyudan Megelang. The first class in the new building started at January 13th, 1941. In 1942-1945 there was a Japanese invasion.

Upon graduation, the call to be a Jesuit compelled him to attend St. Peter Canisius Minor Seminary in Magelang. He joined the Society of Jesus in 2002 and was ordained a priest in 2015. Since then, he has been assigned to a ministry close to his heart.
From 1951 to 1957 he studied at St Peter Canisius minor seminary in Mertoyudan, Magelan, Central Java. On 7 September 1957 he entered St Stanislaus Novitiate of the Society of Jesus in Giri Sonta - Klepu, Semarang, Central Java, and took his first vows there on 8 September 1959.
