  3. Jan 29, 2021 · The novel was vivid and horrific, but Petit Pays has had more of an emotional impact on me because of the child’s-eye view. Petit Pays is available in English from Fishpond: Small Country and you can see how fine the Sarah Aridizzone’s translation is from excerpts in Stu’s review at Winston’s Dad.
