Description. Le Parti des Phalanges libanaises est également connu sous le nom de Parti Phalangiste (حزب الكتائب اللبنانية Ḥizb al-Katā'ib al-Lubnāniyya) en arabe. Kataeb est le pluriel de Katiba qui est une traduction en arabe du mot grec phalange (« bataillon ») qui est aussi à l'origine du terme espagnol Falange .
