Philip Cunningham (born 7 December 1974) is an English guitarist who is a member of the bands Marion, New Order, Bad Lieutenant, ShadowParty and, more recently in 2020, Sea Fever. Marion. Cunningham is a member of the Britpop group Marion, which formed in Macclesfield in 1993.

- A toy accordion. A SEED was sown in 1963 when I was given a toy accordion for my Christmas. It was a month before my fourth birthday and was a present given to me by my parents for no real reason.
- Planxty. I WAS learning classical accordion but in 1972 my brother Johnny gave me an album for Christmas that he wanted to hear. It was by Planxty, the most famous band in Ireland at the time.
