Ludwig van Beethoven (sqt. Ludvig van Bethovën) u pagëzua më 17 dhjetor 1770 në Bon, Gjermani dhe vdiq më 26 mars 1827 në Vjenë, Austri. Ishte kompozitor i Epokës Klasike Gjermane. Ai ndryshe u quajt si "gjeniu i vogël" sepse mund të luante në piano pa e shikuar fare partition.

Beethoven wrote cadenzas ( WoO 58) to the first and third movements of Mozart's D minor piano concerto, K. 466, and four sets of variations on themes by Mozart: on "Se vuol ballare" from The Marriage of Figaro, for piano and violin, WoO 40 (1792–3);
In 1799, Beethoven participated in (and won) a notorious piano 'duel' at the home of Baron Raimund Wetzlar (a former patron of Mozart) against the virtuoso Joseph Wölfl; and the next year he similarly triumphed against Daniel Steibelt at the salon of Count Moritz von Fries.

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (Shqiptimi: Volfgang Amadeus Moxart, Janar 27, 1756 - 5 dhjetor 1791), pagëzuar si Johannes Chrysostomus Wolfgangus Theophilus Mozart, ishte një kompozitor i shquar dhe me ndikim gjatë epokës moderne.
Mozart was a versatile composer, and wrote in every major genre, including symphony, opera, the solo concerto, chamber music including string quartet and string quintet, and the piano sonata. These forms were not new, but Mozart advanced their technical sophistication and emotional reach.
