During the day it's the place of a market, where you can by typical products from South Tyrol, such as fruit, vegatables, herbs and the famous 'Speck'. Hard to miss, but a place not to be missed in cental Bolzano-Bozen.

The main attraction in the Piazza delle Erbe is the Fountain of Neptune. It is made of marble and bronze. The God of the Sea and his trident are accompanied by three dolphins resting on three giant shells.
