Drive to Piazzale Michelangelo
If you’re driving up to Piazzale Michelangelo (for example, you’re visiting from the Tuscan countryside, or you just picked up your rental carand are on your way out of the city), you can drive directly to Piazzale Michelangelo. There are blue pay and display parking spaces on the edge of the piazzale (parallel to the street, Viale Michelangiolo). If you can’t find a spot, you can try parking on Via delle Porte Sante, below San Miniato al Monte.
