The riding was fantastic, the scenery beautiful, all of the hotels were excellent, it was a very nice group of people to tour with, and the cuisine was simply amazing. The weather was great. One highlight (of many on this tour) was our day trip to Cinque Terre and a delightful lunch at the restaurant you recommended in Monterosso, Ristorante Ciak.

In Niger, slavery is also a current phenomenon. A Nigerien study has found that more than 800,000 people are enslaved, almost 8% of the population.

The next day, talks began for evacuating people from the 10-kilometre (6.2 mi) zone. Ten days after the accident, the evacuation area was expanded to 30 kilometres (19 mi).
