She is the daughter of actress Laura Straub and screenwriter Allan Scott; an uncle was the blacklisted screenwriter Adrian Scott.
Pippa Scott is the daughter of a stage actress and a playwright, and the niece of a Hollywood blacklist writer. She has appeared in films, TV shows and documentaries, and co-founded Lorimar Productions and the International Monitor Institute.
