Point Lobos is just south of Carmel-by-the-Sea, California, United States, and at the north end of the Big Sur coast of the Pacific Ocean. Point Lobos features a number of hiking trails, many alongside the ocean, and a smaller number of beaches.

About 45 minutes. Cliff house and the national park point lobos lands end walk start right at the end of the road. Great spot to start your day of hiking and amazing views. We had a coffee at the National parks office, good food choices here also but no seating, plenty outside with the best views. Toilets here to use.

Nov 20, 2023 · Point Lobos State Reserve is an exceptionally beautiful California state park, and one of the top natural attractions near Carmel on the scenic Monterey Peninsula. It is so beautiful that one could even say that Point Lobos is the best state park in California!
