  3. Jul 6, 1998 · Book Review 3+ of 5 stars to Point of Origin, the 9th thriller in the "Kay Scarpetta" mystery and suspense series by Patricia Cornwell. I enjoyed this book a lot, especially given the focus around Lucy and Benton. Cornwell gives such depth to her characters, you can't help but love and hate them at the same time.
