The games are compatible with Pokémon GO through Bluetooth LE as of version 1.2.0 (released on February 27, 2023). Players can send postcards as well as Gimmighoul Coinsfrom their phone to the games. Each time a postcard is sent, wild Vivillon's pattern will change depending on the location where the Postcard came from. This effect lasts 24 hours in real-time, after which the pattern of wild Vivillon will be reset, and the player will be able to receive another Postcard.
