At the Los Angeles Auto Show on 16 November 2022 (17 November, 04:00 CET), Porsche will unveil a very special variant of the iconic 911: the new 911 Dakar. It will be the first two-door sports car to offer outstanding off-road capabilities. The model name is a nod to the first overall victory by Porsche in the Paris-Dakar rally.
The new 911 Dakar accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 3.2 seconds, the top track speed is limited to 150 mph due to the cross section height of the tires for this model. The engine is paired with an eight-speed-PDK and Porsche Traction Management (PTM) all-wheel drive.
