The Presbyterian College of Education, Akropong, is a co-educational teacher-training college in Akropong in the Akwapim North district of the Eastern Region of Ghana. It has gone through a series of previous names, including the Presbyterian Training College, the Scottish Mission Teacher Training College, and the Basel Mission Seminary.

Education. Akropong has several educational institutions across all the town. The first teachers training college in Ghana, Presbyterian Training College is located in Akropong. The Presbyterian Church has a university in the town as well. Akropong is also known for its Special education for the blind (Akropong School for the Blind).
Located on the Salem Grounds at Akropong-Akuapem, a historic town with a rich blend of tradition, the Akuapem Campus of the Presbyterian University College, Ghana is approximately 49 kilometers from Accra.
