Prince of Darkness (bra: Príncipe das Sombras [1], ou O Príncipe das Sombras [2]; prt: Príncipe das Trevas [3] [4] [5]) é um filme estadunidense de 1987, dos gêneros terror, ficção científica e suspense, dirigido por John Carpenter, com roteiro de "Martin Quatermass" (o próprio Carpenter, sob pseudônimo).
Prince of Darkness. Prince of Darkness (1987) is John Carpenter's second film in his "Apocalypse Trilogy", after The Thing (1982) and before In the Mouth of Madness (1994). It is a slow-paced, atmospheric, creepy and Mind Screw-y little film that doesn't get mentioned very often but is nonetheless an important piece in Carpenter's filmography.
