Ramin Djawadi (born 19 July 1974) is a German film score composer, conductor, and record producer. He is known for his scores for the HBO series Game of Thrones, for which he was nominated for Grammy Awards in 2018 and 2020. He is also the composer for the HBO Game of Thrones prequel series, House of the Dragon (2022–present).

He also composed Clash of the Titans, A Wrinkle in Time, Pacific Rim, Westworld, Gears of War 4 and 5, Medal of Honor, Open Season 1 and 2, Jack Ryan and Warcraft.
He was nominated for a Grammy Award for his work on Game of Throne threes times: in 2009, 2018, and 2020. He won two Emmy Awards for Game of Thrones (2018, 2019). Djawadi has also worked on a number of major films, including Iron Man (2008), starring Robert Downey Jr ., and Guillermo del Toro 's Pacific Rim (2013).
