Rebecca Evans was first elected to the National Assembly for Wales in May 2011 to represent the Mid and West Wales region. In 2016 she became Assembly Member for Gower. Rebecca received a degree in History from the University of Leeds, and a Master of Philosophy degree in Historical Studies from Sidney Sussex College, University of Cambridge.

Feb 27, 2024 · Internationally acclaimed Welsh soprano Rebecca Evans celebrates her 35th anniversary with Welsh National Opera this year. She will perform as Despina in WNO’s upcoming production of Così fan tutte, which opened on 24 February and is running until the 10 May. This production marks Evans’ first performance of the role in a decade.
