Jun 28, 2013 · Redemption a.k.a Hummingbird is a decent, contemplative revenge movie starring Jason Statham. The fisticuffs, cinematography and central performances are all good. Some slack writing wears the film a bit thin, however.
About this movie. A damaged ex-special forces soldier (Jason Statham) trapped in the criminal underworld is transformed into an avenging angel when an unexpected opportunity allows him to assume another identity. Once believing he was beyond redemption, he now seeks out his own version of justice.
