You may apply for admission as a freshman if you meet the following criteria: You’re currently in high school. Or, you’ve already graduated from high school, but haven’t yet enrolled in a regular session at a college or university. To begin the application process, use the University of California’s online application (UC Application).
The CSU requires a minimum 15-unit pattern of courses for admission as a first-time freshman. Each unit is equal to a year of study in a subject area. A grade of C or better is required for each course you use to meet any subject requirement.
Applicants are expected to have completed these minimum requirements: 2 years history/social science. 4 years of college-preparatory English. 3 years of mathematics (4 years recommended) 2 years of laboratory science (3 years recommended) 2 years of language other than English (3 years recommended)
To use a college course to fulfill an A-G requirement for First-Time, First-Year (freshman) admission, you must make sure to assign the correct A-G subject category to the college course. Add the college(s) in the "Colleges Attended" section. Add the college course(s) in the "College Coursework" section. Go to the "A-G Matching" section.
