Marriage licenses are issued in-person (no appointment required) on a first-come, first-served basis. Birth Certificate Copies. California Health and Safety Code Section 103526 permits only authorized persons to receive certified authorized copies of birth records. Death Certificate Copies.

If you are requesting a certified copy, you MUST provide a notarized sworn statement declaring under penalty of perjury that you are authorized by law to receive the certified copy (see list of authorized individuals below).
Document copy orders (Official Records & Fictitious Business Names) will be processed within 10 Business days. Certified copies will be mailed. Regular copies may be mailed, or emailed (upon request).
