Jones’s poetry appears in many anthologies, including Poetry 180 and Good Poems, as well as in journals such as Poetry magazine, AGNI, Image, American Poetry Review, Literature and Belief, Narrative, and Escape into Life.
He is editor of the literary journal Poetry East and its many anthologies, including The Last Believer in Words and Bliss. He is currently professor of English at DePaul University in Chicago, where he has taught since 1987. He lives north of Chicago with his wife and three children.

Richard Jones is a poet, editor, and professor of English at DePaul University. He is the author of a dozen books of poetry, including Country of Air, At Last We Enter Paradise, A Perfect Time, and Apropos of Nothing. His selected poems, The Blessing, won the Society of Midland Authors Award for Poetry in 2000.
