Goliath is a fast-paced adventure story that introduces the reader to the members of the Polaris organization that deals with kidnappings, ransoms, and hostage rescues worldwide. Without giving away too much, the team is hired to rescue a kidnapped woman before a madman can unleash his plot to change to balance of power in Europe.
I chose 1931 as it was the heyday for airships, and wanted to tie the past with the future via the Airship Goliath.
I was in the armed forces for 32 years, so I bring a lot of my experiences from all over the globe into my writing.
I spent a fair amount of time researching every aspect of this book. From airships to the history of the Romanov crown jewels to some of the places the characters end up in the novel.
I wanted an airship to represent the Goliath on her maiden voyage over the sands of Africa. I worked with Tatiana Villa, a very talented artist who helped design this and all of the covers for my books.
Ryan is a former special operations officer who is always motivated to do the right thing even when the right thing to do is the hardest thing in the world to accomplish.
Jennifer is a unique and highly independent individual who, even when facing daunting odds, refuses to give up.
Right now, I am going through an edit of my latest Kurgan War novel. A science-fiction series set far in the future where humanity must work with an old adversary to keep the peace. After that, I’ll probably jump into my next Ryan Mitchell thriller.
