Jan 26, 2023 · The New Jersey Turnpike Authority is in the design phase of a $2 Billion multi-year effort to widen the southern segment of the Turnpike along Interchanges 1-4 (Mount Laurel to Delaware Memorial Bridge) which will add one additional lane in each direction. In 2021 a $48 Million contract was signed for preliminary work and permitting.
