A roadster (also spider, spyder) is an open two-seat car with emphasis on sporting appearance or character. [1] [2] Initially an American term for a two-seat car with no weather protection, its usage has spread internationally and has evolved to include two-seat convertibles .
The Excalibur automobile was a car styled after the 1928 Mercedes-Benz SSK by Brooks Stevens for Studebaker. Stevens subsequently formed a company to manufacture and market the cars, which were a standard Studebaker car with special bodywork (and soon got an upgraded engine as well). [1]

Durant (automobile) 1929 Durant Deluxe Roadster 4-40 at Stahls Automotive Collection. The Durant was a make of automobile assembled by Durant Motors Corporation of New York City, New York from 1921 to 1926 and again from 1928 to 1932.
The original Aero model, the Type 500 or Type 10 was a small car launched in 1928. Powered by a 494 cc single- cylinder two-stroke engine with water cooling, producing 10 bhp (7 kW; 10 PS), it could reach a top speed of 70 km/h (43 mph). Drive was through a 3-speed gearbox to a rear axle without differential.
