Rome Hartman is a television journalist who has spent more than three decades telling stories on network TV. He is currently a producer for the program “60 Minutes Sports,” which airs monthly on Showtime. It is a spinoff of the venerable CBS News Sunday evening magazine program. From 2011 to 2013, Hartman was an Executive Producer for NBC News.
In 2007, Rome Hartman was hired by the British Broadcasting Company to develop and serve as executive producer of a new one-hour nightly newscast aimed at U.S. audiences. A multiple Emmy Award winner, Hartman was previously executive producer of the CBS Evening News with Katie Couric and a producer for 60 Minutes.
