Søren Kragh-Jacobsen er en dansk filminstruktør, som har medvirket til at grundlægge og udvikle traditionen for stærke socialrealistiske og psykologiske film om børn og unge. Søren Kragh-Jacobsen blev uddannet på filmskolen i Prag og arbejdede siden i Danmarks Radios B&U-afdeling.

Søren Kragh-Jacobsen er en dansk filmregissør. Han debuterte med den fine ungdomsskildringen Vil du se min smukke navle? (1977), og har senere laget innsiktsfulle fremstillinger av barn og ungdoms liv, blant annet den internasjonalt prisbelønte Gummi-Tarzan (1981) og Isfugle (De unge rotløse, 1983).
