Bone Tomahawk (2015) is one of those movies that keeps coming up in the conversation about good recent westerns and even if there wasn't that one notorious scene it still holds up as a decent slow burn. Great acting by Kurt Russell and Richard Jenkins too. Brawl in Cell Block 99 (2017) is IMHO one of the best prison movies I've ever seen.

Fangoria was sold and is independently run, the magazine and they created their own studio. Because Zahler makes movies on a budget, COVID insurance has priced them out of the market for now. Sonnier has said there is a 99% chance that Zahler will be back in the directors chair this year.
