Following the success of Alesha Dixon, lead vocalist Sabrina Washington was the second member of R&B girl band Mis-Teeq to launch a solo career. Born in Harlesdon, London in 1978, she formed the group with Dixon at Dance Attic Studios in 1999, and after recruiting Zena McNally and Su-Elise Nash, they signed to Telstar Records a year later.
