Feb 12, 2015 · On September 25, 1956, Argentinean news agencies reported a UFO sighting in Pajas Blancas, Salta. Several witnesses saw a strange egg-shaped aircraft landing. In spite of its large size, it rose lightly into the air in a spiral motion.
5 September 2023. In the Espora Air Base, near Bahía Blanca, that night four UFOs flew over the base and they were seen by military personnel, who responded and engaged with gunfire. The objects were black and triangular in shape. One object fired with a type of laser that injured two or three soldiers.

- The Prohladnyi Incident. According to reports that were released following the dissolution of the Soviet Union, at around 11:00 AM on August 10, 1989, a squadron of MiG-25s were scrambled to meet a UFO flying over the city of Prohladnyi near the Caucasus Mountains.
