20 hours ago · Advice for early August trip. 26 Apr 2024, 17:31. Hello! My boyfriend and I are looking to do a 7 nights, 8 days trip to Austria in early August, flying from London. We definitely want to do Vienna for 2 days but otherwise are pretty open. I was thinking of hitting Salzburg for more culture and Innsbruck for some alps/views/hiking.

If your plans are fixed and you're willing to commit to specific trains few weeks in advance - buy single restricted tickets (Sparschiene). If you want to stay flexible and make your plans on the go, go for Eurail. Reply.

It will be a solo trip and my days will be busy sightseeing.
