Sam Walton's original store, Walton's 5 & 10, in Bentonville hosts the Wal-Mart Museum (formerly the Wal-Mart Visitor's Center) center. The Wal-Mart Visitor's Center was opened in 1990 to showcase Wal-Mart history and their contributions to the region.
You can enter from Main Street. It's located on the first floor and it's tucked away in the back. Learn about Sam Walton, Walmart and see various oddities from over the years. This is something of a test lab where they are working on improvements for the upcoming renovated museum on the Square.
