The San Diego Superior Court’s Register of Actions is intended to assist the public in accessing available case data without visiting the courthouse. All documents made available on this site may be downloaded and viewed at a fee.
Search options include finding a case if you know the name of a party associated with the case, the Case Number, or the District Attorney (DA) Case Number. Civil Limited and misdemeanor records may only be available for 10 years for some court locations.
Case Number Search. Enter the Case Number that you would like to find. The total number of selections returned is limited, so the more detailed the search criteria, the easier it will be to find your case.

There are three ways to look at court case records: Go to the courthouse and ask to look at paper case records. Go to the courthouse and look at electronic case records. If your court offers it, look at electronic case records over the internet. This is called “remote access.”.
Party Name Search. Enter the party last name that you would like to find. Note that the Party Type is only used when the Case Type is Civil or Domestic. The total number of selections returned is limited, so the more detailed the search criteria, the easier it will be to find your case.
