The School of Nursing offers prelicensure (RN) bachelor’s degree programs at the San Francisco campus and in the Peninsula/SF State Baccalaureate Nursing Program at the College of San Mateo. The Peninsula/SF State Baccalaureate Nursing program is an accelerated four-semester program that includes the summer session.

The Nursing program accepts MATH 124, PSY 171, ISED 160, or ETHS 116/117 for the statistics requirement. All first-year students and undeclared students interested in the Pre-licensure BSN (Nursing) major are encouraged to see advisors at the Undergraduate Advising Center (UAC) in ADM 211.
Major Department Information. The ADN-BSN Program is a collaborative model for academic progression in Nursing between SF State School of Nursing and designated California Community College (CCC) partners. The current partners are College of San Mateo and City College of San Francisco.
The fifteen-month Nursing Bachelor of Science Accelerated prelicensure program prepares students for entry-level Registered Nurse (RN) positions in a variety of settings including hospitals, community clinics, long-term care, home care, and community health agencies.
