Sanjeev Bhaskar OBE (born 31 October 1963) is a British actor, comedian and television presenter. He is best known for his work in the BBC Two sketch comedy series Goodness Gracious Me and as the star of the sitcom The Kumars at No. 42 .

As a kid, he relished putting on silly skits at family gatherings, but at college studied business and then worked in marketing at IBM, Bhaskar told the Financial Times (UK).
