On November 17, 2020, it was announced Marcos Siega was set to direct the first six episodes of the limited series as well as serving as an executive producer alongside Hall, John Goldwyn, Sara Colleton, Bill Carraro, and Scott Reynolds. In July 2021, it was announced that the series would premiere on November 7, 2021, on Showtime.
