May 12, 2023 · The historic Cinerama theater, which opened in 1963 and was closed since 2020, will be reopened by the end of the year under the name of SIFF, a nonprofit film festival organization. The theater will fire up the projectors with 35mm, 70mm and Cinerama film formats, and offer chocolate popcorn and other amenities.
