I found "Sense and Sensibilty" to be one of the most charming movies I have seen since "Finding Neverland". It has a very warm feeling and is very welcoming. The story is absolutely beautiful. In the 1990's, all of Jane Austen's huge novels were made into movies and some even in television series.
Sense and Sensibility shows how women in upper-class Georgian England, though privileged, had relatively few choices in life. The beautiful, humorous movie creates a buzz of excitement around the Dashwood sisters' romantic intrigue.

This movie is so terrible, I created account just to review it. pelennor-51227 1 December 2019 I have seen a lot of Hallmark movies but this one was so awful it actually made me mad. First of all, if you are going to name a movie Sense and Sensibility, you should use more than just the names of the characters.
Emma Thompson adapted this acclaimed film version of Jane Austen’s 1811 novel about the two Dashwood sisters, in whose romantic dalliances one is representative of the restraint of “sense,” while the other characterizes the impetuosity of “sensibility.”
