Nell Tiger Free is a vegetarian and she threw up when they filmed that even though it was a prop they pretended to kill, they used real live eels for the pre deaths scenes of eels only. Some fishermen really do this. To catfish is my personal experience. It takes my breath away but I wanted y’all to know.
What perplexes me the most is, how did Leanne go from fainting to the sight of the eel when Shawn killed it, putting on red lipstick and Dorothy’s ring and shoes, coming downstairs, and surprising Tobe by brutally slamming (with no reaction) the last eel for their meal..such a drastic shift from fainting.
