Feb 21, 2023 · Shattered katana requires 100 MED and normal requires 25 MED. Now, in deepwoken every weapon is very unique, making them all balanced with the small difference that some are sliiiightly better than other. If you die with shattered katana and flush it into the Hippocampal pool you won't be able to use it anyways due to it requiring 100 MED.

Paired Soul only gives a +5% damage buff with the Alloyed Katana to bring it closer to the Shattered Katana. Use the Alloyed Katana over the Shattered Katana if you want to keep the normal katana crit when 2 handing.
