Prior to joining WWE, he wrestled on the European independent circuit.
- WWE Championship: Sheamus debuted on the October 26th 2009 Raw by defeating Jamie Noble, after ‘retiring’ Noble after a series of vicious attacks. Sheamus was part of the victorious team Miz at the 2009 Survivor Series, eliminating John Morrison and picking up a symbolic pin over then top Irish WWE Superstar Finlay.
