Aug 5, 2021 · TAMPA, FL—A former Sheldon man who was in the U.S. Air Force was sentenced to a federal prison term. Twenty-four-year-old Trevor Mayer received a sentence of 15 years and eight months for producing material depicting the sexual exploitation of children.

One of the earliest employees of Major Malcolm Wheeler-Nicholson 's National Allied Publications, Mayer produced almost all of his comics work for the company that would become known as DC Comics.
