Shenzhen Bay Sports Center (Chinese: 深圳湾体育中心), nicknamed Spring Cocoon (Chinese: 春茧) for its shape, is a multiuse stadium in Shenzhen, China. It is used mostly for table tennis, swimming and soccer competitions.

Jul 27, 2023 · The stadium is in the easternmost of Shenzhen Bay Sports Center with about 20,000 seats. It is available for big domestic and international competitions, large concerts and various exhibitions. The most special point of the stadium is that tourists can enjoy the sea view in it directly.
The snake-alike building runs from the West to the East, consisting of an office tower, swimming pool, indoor arena (13,000 capacity) and multi-sue stadium (20,000 seats). The latter ends the center with a wide gate that allows most spectators not only enjoy the events inside, but also the view of Shenzhen Bay.

The value of the contract was 1.297 billion yuan. The new arena was the first to start construction, and in November 2021 the stadium redevelopment began. The redevelopment of the complex should be completed in late 2023 or early 2024.

The redevelopment of the complex should be completed at the end of 2023 or early 2024. In 2023, the WTA Finals will return to Shenzhen, but the new arena will not be fully completed at that time and the competition is still to be held at the Shenzhen Bay Sports Center complex.
