Plot. Dr John Watson ( Martin Freeman ), an ex-army doctor injured in the Afghanistan, meets Sherlock Holmes ( Benedict Cumberbatch) through a mutual friend. They become flatmates, sharing rooms at 221B Baker Street owned by landlady Mrs Hudson (Una Stubbs).
