On December 19, 2016, the series was renewed for a second season that premiered on July 18, 2017. [8] On December 4, 2017, the series was renewed for a third season. [9] On August 15, 2018, USA Network canceled Shooter after three seasons, and its final episode aired on September 13, 2018. [10]

Season 2 is the second season of USA Network's Shooter. The season will run from July 18 to an undetermined date. It is loosely based on Time to Hunt, the third novel in Stephen Hunter's Bob Lee Swagger novel series.
The second season ran for eight episodes, which aired at 10/9c each Tuesday. Originally, Season 2 was intended to have ten episodes, but it was shortened due to an on-set injury sustained by Ryan Phillippe. The titles for the remaining two episodes were "Ride with the Devil" and "Law of the Range."
Season 1 follows Bob Lee through a nationwide manhunt after he is framed for attempting to assassinate the President, during which he allies himself with FBI Special Agent Nadine Memphis. Season 2 picks up months later, in which the members of Unit 8113 are targeted by T. Solotov, the sniper that killed Bob Lee's best friend and spotter, Donny ...
