Sigismund of Luxembourg [a] (15 February 1368 – 9 December 1437) was Holy Roman Emperor from 1433 until his death in 1437. He was elected King of Germany (King of the Romans) in 1410, and was also King of Bohemia from 1419, as well as prince-elector of Brandenburg (1378–1388 and 1411–1415).

Sigismund I o Poland ( Pols: Zygmunt I Stary; Lithuanie: Žygimantas I Senasis) (1 Januar 1467 – 1 Aprile 1548), o the Jagiellon, reigned as King o Poland an an aa as the Grand Duke o Lithuanie frae 1506 till 1548.
Sigismund was a passionate builder, but much of the architecture built during his reign have been destroyed. He greatly rebuilt and expanded the royal (imperial) palace in Buda. Twice he searched for pictorial representations of famous buildings to be used as reference.
Sigismund I (born Jan. 1, 1467—died April 1, 1548, Kraków, Pol.) was a king who established Polish suzerainty over Ducal Prussia (East Prussia) and incorporated the duchy of Mazovia into the Polish state.

In 1410, after the death of Emperor Rupert, Sigismund was finally elected German king, that is, king of the Romans. Coronation was impeded by the wars among factions of German princes; but finally, on Nov. 8, 1414, he was crowned king at Aachen.
