The People's Action Party (PAP) was founded in 1954 by Mr Lee Kuan Yew and a group of committed Singaporeans to improve the well-being of the people. The PAP's emphasis on multi-racialism and equality brought peace, progress and prosperity to Singapore within a span of fifty years.
